Despite having only two back cameras—a wide and an ultra-wide—the Pixel 8 may be a much superior phone for taking pictures, since the Pixel 9 will likely include a third camera for telephoto photos. In contrast to the Pixel 8 Pro, which features a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide, a 48MP periscope (with a 5x optical zoom), and a 10.5MP selfie camera, the Pixel 8 boasts a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10.5MP front-facing camera.

Battery

Although there has been no word about the batteries in the Pixel 9 lineup, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro both sport 5,050mAh batteries. Since those are both increases over the Pixel 7 models, we could see comparable sizes with the Pixel 9 range. However, there’s always a chance for another rise.
